While we had hoped to be able to return to in-person classes this fall, several factors led the board to decide that it would be best to continue virtual instruction at least through the Christmas holiday. A major contributor to the decision was the small number of days between September and Christmas that the Notre Dame facility was going to be available to us to hold classes. However, the board also took into consideration the traffic situation caused by the Brent Spence Bridge construction and, of course, the updated CDC recommendation to wear masks even for the vaccinated and the very real possibility that the COVID variants are going to start shutting everything down again. We are disappointed that we can’t be together in person, yet (and that we can’t offer classes for the younger children) but continuing to meet virtually seemed the best (and safest!)
