Little Linguists: Ages 3-6 – Leilani Henderson
Introduce your child to the joy of learning German through play, songs, stories, and movement! This beginner-level class is designed especially for young learners ages 3 to 6, using age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and build a foundation in the German language. Children will explore everyday vocabulary such as colors, animals, numbers, greetings, and family words, all while developing listening and speaking skills in a fun,
supportive environment. With an emphasis on repetition, rhythm, and hands-on
interaction, this course helps children absorb language naturally—just like they learned their first! No prior German knowledge needed. All are welcome!
*Children must be potty trained to enroll.

Beginners German Reading and Writing: Ages 6-10 – TBA
Give your child a head start in language learning with this engaging German enrichment
course focused on early reading and writing skills. Designed for beginners ages 6 to 10, this program introduces children to the German alphabet, basic vocabulary, and foundational
grammar through interactive, hands-on learning. Using songs, stories, games, and creative writing activities, students will build the skills to read and write simple German words and
sentences. The course emphasizes phonics, pronunciation, and sentence structure in a supportive, low-pressure environment.

Exploring German: Ages 10-13 – TBA
This engaging German course is designed for students ages 10–13 who are ready to dive
deeper into learning a new language while exploring the rich culture of German-speaking countries. Whether students are just beginning or have some prior exposure, this class supports a range of learners with age-appropriate instruction and activities. Students will develop foundational skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking German, with a focus on everyday conversation, sentence structure, and essential grammar. Cultural elements—
like holidays, traditions, foods, and geography—are woven into lessons to give students a broader, real-world connection to the language.

German For Teens: Ages 13-16 – Zach Gale
This dynamic German course is designed for teens who are ready to build real-world
language skills and deepen their understanding of German-speaking cultures. Whether
students are beginners or have some prior experience, this class offers an engaging mix of
vocabulary development, grammar instruction, conversation practice, and cultural
exploration. Students will learn to express themselves in everyday situations, read and
write short texts, and participate in basic conversations. Lessons are interactive and
relevant, incorporating music, videos, current events, and cultural topics to make the
language come alive. This course builds language confidence in a fun, low-pressure
environment and lays a strong foundation for continued language study in high school or
beyond. Perfect for students interested in global communication, travel, or future academic
pursuits in German.

*Information about the two middle classes for children is to be used for general guidelines.
When school starts, the instructors will meet with the children and, using factors such as
age and current German ability, determine the best learning environment for each child
**Students 17-18 will join an adult class suited to their ability but pay the same tuition rate
as the teen class.
